In this shoot, I challenged myself to get a moving shot of a miniature Formula 1 car. I constructed a rig to pull the car at the same speed as the camera was panning, using rulers and tape. In the editing room, I had to learn how to remove the rulers and tape from the shot so it looks like the car is moving on its own.

In this shoot, I played with a light box featuring my favorite Batmobiles. The light box add a soft even light to show the curves and lines on the cars. The 1989 Batmobile is my favorite, with its long nose and high wings.

This past weekend, we joined our god kids to celebrate Independence Day. We watched as they played curiously with the sparklers. We had them do some kinetic light painting with the sparklers. It was a challenge to capture them in the low light, but the light from the sparklers worked great.

Another Hot Wheels photo shoot. Shot this during sunset in Roseville. I had to use a step stool and a floor mat to imitate the asphalt.

We caught a small break in the rain to get out for a few hours and explore Sausalito. We found another, less seen, vantage point of San Francisco.
